She was 90. The funeral will be 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 13, in the chapel of Schumacher Funeral Home in Bristow with the Rev. Jimmy Thomas Ray of Beams of Light Family Church in Tulsa officiating. Burial will be in Magnolia Memorial Gardens in Bristow. Laura Hudson Bryson was born Jan. 9, 1913, in Arkansas, the daughter of Eliza and Lon Hicks. She moved to Bristow in the 1930s and married Perry Hudson in 1938. She was employed at the Korkames Chili Plant in Bristow, at Rainbow Health Care and cared for elderly in their homes as a nurse. She married Glen C. Bryson in 1968, and moved to Ponca City in 1979. She enjoyed attending Salvation Army Ladies Home League activities, handicapped club meetings, gardening, cooking and her family. Survivors include a son, Wayne Hudson of Tulsa; one stepdaughter, Jackie Davis of Ponca City; three stepsons, William Hudson of Hemet, Calif., Edgar Hudson of Gardena, Calif., and Leroy Hudson of Sapulpa; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Perry Hudson in 1967, Glen Bryson in 1977 and Frank Bryson in 1986.
