All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm =================================================================== Grace Gill nee Muchow Mrs. Grace Gill, 70, died early Saturday afternoon in the Ponca City Hospital where she had been admitted Tuesday. She was born September 11, 1899, in Ponca City, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. F. Muchow. She received her education here and then attended beautician school in Oklahoma City. She established a beauty salon in Arkansas City and also had an antique business there during World War II. In 1955 she operated a beauty salon and antique shop in Ponca City. She married to Irl Gill on February 14, 1936, in Ponca City. Gill proceeded her in death in 1955. Mrs. Gill was a member of the Episcopal church. She resided at 212 South Twelfth Street. Surviving her are a brother, A. L. Muchow, 122 South Elm, and two sisters; Mrs. H. R. Kidder, 603 South Fourth, and Mrs. Clarence Shields of Arkansas City. Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Tuesday in Grace Memorial Chapel. The Rev. Thomas O. Moehle, rector of Grace Episcopal Church, will officiate and burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery. The casket will not be opened following the service, but friends may call at the chapel until 9:30 a.m. Tuesday. The family will be at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Keathly, 1415 Prospect.
