Martin, 80, Davis, were held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 24 at Sunset Baptist Church in Ponca City with Dr. Lonny Lee officiating. Interment followed in I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Ponca City with Hale's Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Born January 28, 1926 to Willie and Bertha (Balentine) Brewer at Mountain View, Ark., she died Wednesday, March 22 at Oklahoma City. She and Jake Alonzo Martin were married on December 2, 1950 in Ponca City. He preceded her in death on January 13, 2003. She was also preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Letha Hicks, Magie Brewer and Retha Moore and one brother, Coy Brewer. She and her husband made their home in Ponca City for many years before moving to the Oklahoma City area. In 1978, the couple moved to Davis where they owned and operated Martin Trailer Park for many years. In September, 2002, they returned to Oklahoma City to be near family. She is survived by two sons, Jackie James Martin and wife, Susie, Moore and Timothy George Martin and wife, Kim, Oklahoma City; five grandchildren, Lori M. Smith and husband, Selby, Jeffrey J. Martin, Kyle M. Martin, Timothy Jordan Martin and Nathaniel Jonah Martin; three great-grandchildren and one sister, Gladys Ramsey and a sister- in-law, Marie Tigert, Davis.
