Ponca City News Ponca City, Kay, Oklahoma Thursday, October 26, 1995 Pg. 10-A, Col. 3 and 4 DEATHS Mary M. Tyner, local resident, died Wednesday, October 25, 1995 in Ponca City. She was 34. The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Grace Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Larry Heimsoth of Ponca City presiding. Burial will follow in Resthaven Memorial Cemetery. Friends may visit the funeral Home until 9 p.m. Today. The casket will not be opened at the service. Mary M. (Schrum) Tyner was born February 1, 1961 in grafton, N.D., the daughter of Fred and Daisey (Warnke) Schrum. She attended schools in Grafton and graduated from Grafton High School in 1979. She moved to Ponca City in 1981. On March 26, 1986, she married Larry W. Tyner and the couple made their home in Ponca City. Mrs. Tyner was employed by Conoco for 14 years and currently working as Conoco Printing Center coordinator. She was a member of the Lutheran Church and her hobbies included reading, playing piano, working jig-saw and caring for animals. Survvors include her husband, Larry W. Tyner; one step-son, Randy W. Tyner of Walsenburg, Colo.; one step-daughter, Tammy Tyner of Ponca City; her mother, Daisey Schrum of Grafton, N.D.; four brothers, Albert Schrum of Duluth, Mi nn., Paul Schrum of Leavenworth, Kans., Mike Schrum of Rewood Hills, Minn., and David Schrum of Grand Forks, N.D.; three sisters, Linda Lund of Grand Forks, N.D., Mrs. Phillip (Deborah)James of Lees Summit, Mo., Laurie Schrum of Grand Forks, N.D.; one step-sister, Shirley Mutschler of Jamestown, N.D. She was preceeded in death by her father on October 16, 1995. The family will be at the Tyner home.
