LOPEMAN DIES AFTER LONG ILLNESS.... MAR 14, 1950 Mrs. George Lopeman 68, route 3 in the Osage, died Tuesday morning in the Ponca City Hospital. Mrs. Lope;man, who lived with her husband in the home at the McCord school, had been in ill health for a year and became critically ill Sunday. Funeral services in charge of the Miller Funeral home, are pending. Mrs. Lopeman was born Dec. 27, 1884, at Sedan, Kan, and attended school there. She moved with her parents to Kaw City in 1899. She was married May 28, 1900, to Isaac Jones at Newkirk. Jones died in 1914. Mrs. Lopeman moved to Ponca City from Uncas in 1935 and married George Lopeman. Mrs. Lopeman worked in McCord school cafeteria and her husband is janitor at the school. She was a member of the Baptist church at Pawhuska. Survivors are her husband,a son, C. M.
