Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the 1OOF Cemetery in Tonkawa. Singleton and Sons Funeral Home, Inc., 627 New Orleans Street, Hempstead, Texas is directing the arrangements. He was employed by Mud Check, Inc. as a drilling mud consultant. He was considered to be "the mud man's mud man." He gave seminars and spoke at many oil and gas shows worldwide. He also consulted on some of the deepest wells drilled in the United States. He was reared in Oklahoma and received his B.S. in education from Northeastern Oklahoma State University. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Connie Esch Taylor; his mother, Wanda Grub of Stillwater; one half- brother, Jim Grubbs and his wife, Pat, and their sons; and a half-sister Kathy Hopper and her husband, Van, and their children. ***********************************************************************
