All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Memorial Park Cemetery--Plainview TX Amarillo Globe News 7 Aug 1997 Sileta Richardson HALE CENTER - Sileta Richardson, 89, a former Hale Center resident, died Monday, Aug. 4, 1997, in Ponca City, Okla. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Gene Meacham, pastor, and Walter Hunt of Lubbock officiating. Burial will be in Plainview Memorial Park in Plainview by Freeman Funeral Home. Mrs. Richardson was born in Hess, Okla. She lived in Hale Center for 53 years. She moved to Lubbock in 1995 and to Oklahoma in 1996. She married Samuel O. Richardson in 1940 at Lubbock. He preceded her in death. Mrs. Richardson was a member of First Baptist Church, the Hale Center Senior Citizens Association, the Order of the Eastern Star, the Daughters of the Nile and the Home Demonstration Club. Survivors include a son, Philip Richardson of Ponca City; four brothers, A.J. Phillips and H.W. Phillips, both of Plainview, A.L. Phillips of Paradise and Melvin Phillips of Amarillo; a sister, Evelyn Horton of Fort Worth; four grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
