All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::NOT LISTED White, Larry WHITE, Larry Wallace - Age 67, of Santa Rosa passed away at his home surrounded by family on Sept. 28, 2006, after a courageous battle with cancer. Larry was born Aug. 16, 1939, in Tonkawa, Okla., and grew up on a large family farm in Lamont, Okla. Larry was a graduate of Oklahoma State and Long Beach State Universities, where he earned bachelor's and master's degrees. Larry served seven years in the National Guard. His career spanned 37 years, including 30 years with the Santa Rosa City School District, where he retired as Assistant Superintendent of Education for K-12 curriculum in 1999. Larry was a decent man with sound values of hard work, honesty and love of family; he was happiest spending time with his family. He enjoyed travel, cowboy culture; gardening, reading about the Lewis and Clark expedition and the Civil War; and watching wildlife in his rural yard. Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Birdine Jane and Leslie John White. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Rosemarie White; daughter Amy Birdine and husband Jeremy Littau of Columbia, Mo.; daughter Linda Marie of San Francisco; brothers Gene, Robert and Joe and sisters Connie and Mary Jane and their families; numerous cousins, aunts, uncles and dear friends. He is also survived by his beloved dachshund, Dolly. Larry and family would like to thank the entire health care staff at Kaiser Permanente in Santa Rosa; the doctors, nurses, support personnel, especially the oncology department; the staff on 4-West, the infusion center, Critical Care Unit; and Memorial Hospice. Larry would be honored by contributions to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
