She was 90. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel in Pawhuska with the Rev. Bill Long officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens in Ponca City. Friends and family may visit at the Johnson Funeral Home in Pawhuska prior to service time. Zenuia Laeta "Zen" (Bowen) Pershall was born May 7, 1906, in Oktaha, Okla., the 10th and youngest child of I. Thamer and Lacy Belle (McBride) Bowen. As a child she moved with her family to Muskogee, Mannford, and then Wild Horse, where she completed 8th grade. In 1923, the family moved to Webb City. She was married to Charles Clyde "Shortie" Pershall in Newkirk, on Jan. 22, 1925. The couple established their home at Shidler. Mrs. Pershall recently moved to the Forrest Manor Nursing Center in Dewey. Survivors include two sons, Wesley L. of Bartlesville and Lewis Dean of Grand Junction, Colo.; four daughters, Genevieve Adams of Artesia, N.M., Aleta Herrington of Ochelata, and Louetta Mow and Carol Long, both of Pawhuska; 15 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
