Susan "Susie" M. Sturgeon was born 1884 in Oklahoma to Richard H. Sturgeon
and Clara B. (Otto) Sturgeon.  Susan's siblings were Martin, Grayden,
Curtis, and Lee.  Her older step-siblings were William, Henry Vardaman,
George Washington, Charles, Jeremiah "Riley" and Isabel.  Their mother
was Mary Ellen Webster.

Susan first married Jacob M. "Jake" McHendry 18 November 1900 at Round
Grove, Woods County, Oklahoma.  He was the son of Samuel and Martha E.
(Bailey) McHendry.  Children born to Jake and Susie McHendry were:
1.  Estel Stanford McHendry born 21 Feb 1905, Ames, OK;
2.  Claris Elizabeth McHendry born 27 Dec 1906, Ames, OK, died 15 Sep 1907,
    Ames, OK, buried at Cimarron Valley Cemetery in Kingfisher Co. OK;
3.  Infant son died before 1910, buried at Cimarron Valley Cemetery,
    Kingfisher Co. OK;
4.  Infant died before 1910, not yet located;
5.  Dollie Lee McHendry born about 1913 in Kansas.

The 1910 Census shows Jake and Susie McHendry with son Estel living in
Wichita, Sedgwick Co. KS on Page ED 124, page 13b.  Susie had 4 children
born, 1 still living.

The 1920 Census of Kingfisher Co. Census ED 229, Sheet 3A, Lines 7-12 of
Forest Twp. lists Susie M. with her second husband, Marion F. Redenbo and
his step-son Estel McHendry and Step-daughter Dollie Lee McHendry.

Third marriage of Susie (Sturgeon) [McHendry] Redenbo was to Ira N. Faler,
27 Aug 1925, Enid, Garfield Co. OK.  Susie resided at Ames, OK.

On 28 Sep 1925, Susie Faler gave paretal consent for the marriage of her
son, Estel to marry Ollie Mae Vance.  Susie and Ira Faler were both
witnesses and listed as Enid residents.

The 1926-1927 Enid City Directory lists Ira and Susie Faler.

Susie (Sturgeon) [McHendry] [Radenbo] Faler died in 1954 and was buried
at Cimarron Valley Cemetery, Kingfisher Co., OK.
