Nellie Lee Beauford

MAGNOLIA LOOP, Fla. - Nellie Lee Beauford, 96, died Friday, Nov. 21, 
1997.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in West Park Cemetery 
with Mark Roberson officiating. Arrangements are by Gililland-Watson 
Funeral Home.

Mrs. Beauford was born in Kingfisher County, Okla. She married 
Clarence Beauford in 1926 at Amarillo. She attended college in 
Weatherford, Okla., where she obtained a teaching certificate. She 
moved to Deaf Smith County in 1927. She had been an active member of 
First Baptist Church in Hereford for more than 45 years. She moved 
from Amarillo to Florida in 1985. She was a homemaker and a member of 
First Baptist Church of Daytona Beach.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1980.

Survivors include a son, Clarence C. Beauford Jr., of Kent, Wash.; a 
daughter, Juanita R. Jennings of Daytona Beach, Fla.; one brother, 
Laurel L. Grant of Geary, Okla.; five grandchildren; 14 great-
grandchildren; and one great-great grandson.

The body will be available for viewing from 8:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. 
Tuesday and Wednesday at Gililland-Watson Funeral Home.
