All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== The Kingfisher Times & Free Press, Kingfisher, Oklahoma Wednesday, January 2, 2002 Hal Dean Cosgrove, 50, of Kingfisher died Monday, Dec. 31, 2001, in Frederick Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Jackson Funeral Home Chapel in Frederick with Eddie Whitworth officiating, followed by burial in the Frederick Memorial Cemetery. Cosgrove was born Aug. 29, 1951, to Harold Neal and Nadine Grubbs Cosgrove in Vernon, Texas. He graduated from Frederick High School in 1969, and was married to Nita Gayle Cheek on May 29, 1971, in Davidson. He worked for GTE for 24 years and then for seven years for Pioneer Telephone Cooperative as a light wave transmission foreman. He was a Master Mason in Masonic Lodge No. 249 AF&AM. He also was a lifetime member of the First United Methodist Church and attended Living Water Ministry. He also was a former Frederick Jaycee and a member of the Frederick Golf and Country Club. Survivors include his wife, Gayle, of the home; one daughter and son-in- law, Crystal Erin and Chad Neugebauer of Frederick; his mother, Nadine Cosgrove of Frederick; one sister and brother-in-law, Pam and Alan Coindreau of Georgetown, Texas, and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father.
