All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== The Kingfisher Times & Free Press, Kingfisher, Oklahoma Wednesday, January 9, 2002 Bertha Louise Gossett Bertha Louise Gossett, 83, of Hinton died Saturday, Jan. 5, 2002, at Kingfisher Regional Hospital. Funeral services were held Tuesday at Sanders Funeral Chapel with Rev. Jim Simms officiating. Burial was in Kingfisher Cemetery. She was born Dec. 6, 1918, in Omega to John and Vina Castonguay Yost. She attended school at Omega High School. She was married to Loy Gossett. He preceded her in death. She was employed as a nurses aid at First Shamrock Nursing Center in Kingfisher and later at Western Oaks Nursing Center in Oklahoma City for several years. Survivors include one daughter, Edna Curry of Oklahoma City; two sisters, Alta York of Kingfisher and Edna Privott of Omega; three grand- children, and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three sisters and two brothers.
