Glazier Robert L. Glazier, 69, of Oklahoma City, formerly of the Loyal-Omega area, died Sunday, Jan. 13, 2002, at his son's residence in Oklahoma City. Recitation of Rosary will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday in Sanders Funeral Chapel in Kingfisher with LeRoy Jech officiating. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Kingfisher with Rev. Rick Stansberry officiating. Burial will follow in the Kingfisher Cemetery. He was born Nov. 16, 1932, in Loyal to Earl and Dephia Page Glazier. He married Wanda Uhlenhake on Sept. 9, 1953, in Oklahoma City. She preceded him in death. He was a 1950 graduate of Loyal High School. He served in the U.S. Navy in the See Bee's during the Korean Conflict. He returned to Loyal and worked with his father in the Glazier Hardware for several years. He started in the grain business at the Loyal Sooner Co-op Grain Elevator and later moved to Omega. He retired in 1997 from the Kingfisher Co-op. He served on the board of directors of the Oklahoma Grain and Feed Dealers Association and was elected president in 1981-82. He was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Kingfisher, American Legion Post No. 34 in El Reno and the VFW Post No. 9969 in Oklahoma City. He was a charter member of the Kingfisher Elks Lodge and the Kingfisher Golf Association. Survivors include one son, David Glazier and wife Edna of Oklahoma City; one brother, Marvin Glazier of Loyal; three grandchildren, and one great- grandson. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, one daughter and one sister.
