Grabow Alfred D. Grabow, 91, of Dover died Monday, Jan. 21, 2002, at Kingfisher Regional Hospital in Kingfisher. Services will be held Saturday, Jan. 26, 2002, at 10:30 a.m. at Peace United Church of Christ in Loyal with Rev. Leon Seaton officiating. Interment will follow in the Kingfisher Cemetery. He was born July 27, 1910, in Loyal to Louis and Amelia Homier Grabow. He lived all his life in the Loyal area. He married June Shearer on Feb. 6, 1932, in Caldwell, Kan. They would have celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary this coming February. He and his son Gary farmed and ranched on the home place all their lives. He had been a member of the Kingfisher Cattlemen's Association, State Cattlemen's Association, Kingfisher Wheat Growers Association, Oklahoma State Wheat Growers Association, and the Pioneer 89'ers Association in Hennessey. He was a member of the Peace United Church of Christ in Loyal. Survivors include his wife; daughters, Joye Garnett and husband, Keith of Carlsbad, N.M., and Guyla Brinckmeyer and husband Jack of Rehoboth Beach, Del.; seven grandchildren, Kimberly LeVert of Decatur, Ga., Kent R. Brinckmeyer of Oakton, Va., Kelly Cockrell of Davenport, Matthew Garnett of Hamilton Township, N.J., Tyler Garnett of Oklahoma City, Gary Lynn Grabow of Kingfisher, and Geoffrey Grabow of Dallas, Texas; nine great-grandchildren, Jennifer Brinckmeyer of Dayton, Ohio, Lindsay Brinckmeyer of Columbus, Ohio, Jacki Kae Cockrell of Davenport, Samuel Cockrell of Davenport, Walker Alfred Austin LeVert of Decatur, Ga., Dawn Schmidt of Savannah, Ga., Kayla Schmidt of Oakton, Va., Blaine and Nathan Grabow of Kingfisher, and one daughter-in-law, Mrs. Gary (Regina) Grabow of Kingfisher. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Gary Grabow, one sister, Louise Riley and one grandson, Curtis Wayne Garnett. Memorials may be made to the Loyal Volunteer Fire Department in Loyal, Okla.
