All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== The Kingfisher Times & Free Press, Kingfisher, Oklahoma Sunday, January 20, 2002 Tillie Mae Humphries Tillie Mae Humphries, 72, of Crescent died Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2002, at Integris Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City. Funeral services were held Friday at the First Baptist Church in Crescent, under direction of Smith Funeral Home of Guthrie. She was born July 23, 1929, to Albert and Ethal Moody Major. She was a graduate of Mulhall High School. She was employed as the court clerk for the city of Guthrie for a number of years. She was active in the First Baptist Church of Crescent, volunteering in their clothes' closet, as well as a member of the Crescent Lady's Auxiliary VFW. Survivors include her husband, Harold; five sons, Ron Nealis of Edmond, Robert Nealis and Virgil (Spike) Nealis, both of Crescent, Kenny Nealis of Cashion and Tom Nealis of Fay; one stepson, Harold Jr. of Tennessee; two daughters, Tressa Mashaney of Wichita, Kan., and Winnie Fay Labus of Edmond; two stepdaughters, Sandy and Cheryl of Texas; two brothers, Ernest Major of Del City and Virgil Major of Orlando; one sister, Hazel Wright of Guthrie; 21 grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Floyd, one daughter, one brother, two sisters, and one son-in-law.
