All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Kingfisher Cemetery--Kingfisher OK Hart, Olive Josephine Olive Josephine Hart made the transition from this life to the next at the age of 91 Friday, Feb. 17, 2006, with her loving family at her bedside. Funeral: 11:30 a.m. Wednesday in Greenwood Chapel. Graveside service: 1 p.m. Thursday in Kingfisher Cemetery, Kingfisher, Okla. Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Greenwood Funeral Home. Olive Josephine Baker was born March 16,1914, in Kingfisher, Okla., to Mr. and Mrs. Herman J. Baker. Olive graduated from Kingfisher High School prior to enrolling in nursing school at Enid General Hospital, where she graduated on May 19, 1936. Olive was married to Arthur S. Hart on March 14, 1937, at First Methodist Church in Kingfisher, Okla. Arthur and Olive had two children, James Arthur and Eloise Katherine, who were the loves of their lives. Arthur and Olive moved to River Oaks in December 1947, when Arthur began work at Consolidated Aircraft Company (later Convair, General Dynamics and Lockheed) where he worked as an electronics technician for 23 years. Olive's nursing career spanned 55 years, working private duty, Enid (Okla.) General and All Saints Hospitals (Fort Worth), school nurse for Castleberry ISD, director of nursing at Fireside Lodge and retired in July 1988. Olive and Arthur celebrated their 50th and 60th wedding anniversaries hosted by their children and families at River Oaks United Methodist Church. Olive was a faithful member of River Oaks United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women, where she attended an organization named in her honor, the Hart/Riepe Circle of the UMW; Fort Worth Genealogical Society; Mary Isham Keith Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution; and the American Association of Retired Persons. Survivors: Son and wife, James Arthur Hart and Catherine Podsednik Hart of River Oaks; daughter and husband, Kay and David E. Glazier of Willow Park; brother, Marvin E. Baker of Weatherford; sister, Mrs. Helen Baker Barrackman of Kingfisher, Okla.; grandchildren, James William Hart, Mary Catherine Hart McLellan and Sean Kevin Glazier; great-grandchildren, Ian Joseph, Travis Bell, Garrett Paul Glazier and Jacob David Glazier; and numerous cousins and relatives.
