DEATHS

The remains of Howard SLUSHER, a former Kingfisher boy, was brought in
on No. 36 this morning from Norman. He was taken to the home of his
sister, Mrs. Wm. Voght (VOGT), east of Kingfisher, from wich place
the funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon.

Elton SLUSHER, Fred and Paul HAUNSTEIN, Mrs THORNTON, Mr. and Mrs.
Harvey SLUSHER and Miss Lulu WARD, came down from Bison on No, 23 to
attend the funeral of the late Howard SLUSHER.

Funeral Of Howard SLUSHER

The funeral of the late Howard Slusher was held from the home of his
sister, Mrs. Wm. VOGT, on Route 6, Tuesdy afternoon, a large gathering
of friends being present. The service was conducted by Rev. Saunders,
pastor of the Christian church.

Conrad (<?) Clissold SLUSHER was born in Blachester (<Blanchester), Ohio,
May 21, 1877 and died March 1, 1914. He came to Kingfisher with his
parents when a child. He was loved by all for his genial and loving
disposition.  Deceased had suffered for many years from gastritis.

He is survived by his mother, three brothers and three sisters, who
mourn their loss, and all of whom were present at the funeral. He was
preceded in death by an infant brother and his father, who passed
away Mar 10, 1894.

Interment was made in Kingfisher cemetery by the side of his father.

Deceased had a large number of friends here who extend their sympathy
to the bereaved relatives. The floral offerings from a number of
societies and friend were very beautiful.

Death of Howard SLUSHER

Howard Clissold SLUSHER was born at Blanchester, Ohio, May 21st, 1877;
died March 1st, 1914.

He leaves a mother, three brothers and three sisters to mourn his loss.
He was buried at Kingfisher cemetery Tuesday, Mar 3. Funeral services
were held at the home of Mrs. VOGT, a sister of the deceased.

Rev. H. H. Saunders of the First Christian Church of Kingfisher
conducted the services.

NOTE: Howard Clissold SLUSHER was the son of Alfred Elijah and
Elizabeth "Eliza" Jane (KELLOGG) SLUSHER.
