Obit for Lillie Ann Hook
CLARENDON - Lillie Ann Hook, 68, died Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2002, in
Lubbock.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Hedley Church of Christ with
Bright
Newhouse, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Rowe Cemetery in
Hedley by
Robertson Funeral Directors.
Mrs. Hook was born April 9, 1934, in Kingfisher, Okla., and was a Pampa
resident before moving to Clarendon in 1984. She married Cecil Lee Hook
on
Dec. 27, 1954, in Snyder. She enjoyed sewing, gardening and cooking for
her
family and friends. She was a homemaker and member of Hedley Church of
Christ.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Debora Lorena Hook; a
son-in-law,
Pierre Gasser; a brother, Leon Baker; and a sister, Mildred Beattie
Ray.
Survivors include her husband; three sons, Cecil Lee Hook Jr. and wife,
Barbara, Rick Hook and wife, Vicki, and Michael Andrew Hook and wife,
Tina, all of Amarillo; a daughter, Deanna Kay Gasser of Amarillo; four
sisters,
Zora Stephens and husband, Wilson, Rosie Wright and husband, Doug, and
Callie Stephens, all of Hedley, and Peggy Hook of Amarillo; six
brothers,
Robert Baker and wife, Carolyn, of Hope Mills, N.C., Don Baker and
wife,
Karen, of Fritch, Maxie Baker and wife, Judy, of Childress, Paul Baker
and
wife, Ricki, of Hedley, Hubert Baker and wife, Martha, of Wellington
and
Ronnie Baker and wife, Peggy, of Flower Mound; 12 grandchildren; two
great-grandchildren; 43 nieces and nephews; numerous great-nieces and
great-nephews; and several great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.
The family suggests memorials be to Hedley Church of Christ, Hedley, TX
79237.
