::Earth Memorial Cemetery--Earth TX

Opal McCleskey

EARTH - Opal McCleskey, 88, died Thursday, Dec. 30, 1999.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. today in Earth Memorial 
Cemetery with Eric Dickey of Crescent Drive Church of Christ in 
Littlefield officiating. Arrangements are by Parsons-Ellis Funeral 
Home of Earth.

Mrs. McCleskey was born in Kingfisher County, Oklahoma. In 1935, she 
moved to Earth from Holdenville, Okla. She was a member of the Church 
of Christ in Earth and was a homemaker.

She married Glen McClesky in 1932 at Holdenville. She was preceded in 
death by her husband in 1993 and by a daughter, Shirley Largent, in 
1998.

Survivors include two daughters, Norma Barden of Earth and Virginia 
Largent of Lubbock; a sister, Ruby Seavers of California; a brother, 
Johnny Blassingame of Euclid, Ohio; eight grandchildren; and 10 
great-grandchildren.
