Seiger, 77, of Hennessey died Friday, April 26, 2002, at Integ- ris Bass Baptist Medical Center in Enid. Funeral services were held Tuesday, April 30, at the First Baptist Church in Hennessey with Ellis Weber and Lanny Jobe officiating. Burial followed at Orion Cemetery, under direction of Cordry-Gritz Funeral Home of Hennessey. She was born Oct. 16, 1924, in Alpena Pass, Ark., to Joseph Grant and Maude B. Morris Slape. She married Otis L. Seiger in Fairview on Dec. 1, 1941. She moved to Stigler and Lawton as a child, and in 1936, she moved to Major County with her parents. She and her husband moved to Hennessey in 1959. They owned and operated the Knox Service Station, which later became Deep Rock, then the Kerr McGee Station until 1972. They also operated Mistletoe Express in Hennessey from 1968-1983. She was a member of the Hennessey Country Club and the ladies golf assoc- iation. Survivors include six sons, Lester Seiger and wife Mary of Lawton, Audrey Seiger of Dover, Edward Seiger and wife Sharyl, Earl Seiger and wife Kathy, Kilven Seiger and wife Sharon and Rex Seiger and wife Tonya, all of Hennessey; three daughters, Thora Stitt and husband Jerald of Dover, Cheryl Jantzen and husband Greg of Cherokee and Tammie Booth and husband Mike of Garber; one brother, Carl Slape of Pueblo, Colo.; 27 grandchildren, and 17 great-grand- children. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and one daughter, Beatta von Schultes, one sister, two brothers and one grandchild. --- Rosa A. Rodriguez: R362 Rosa A. Rodriguez, 29, of Moore, formerly of Kingfisher, died Monday, April 29, 2002, at Southwestern Medical Center in Oklahoma City. Wake service was held Tuesday and Mass of Christian Burial was held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic church in Kingfisher with Rev. Roberto Quant officiating. Burial will be in the Ulysses, Kan., cemetery at 2 p.m. Thursday. Rosa was born Sept. 28, 1972, in CD Acuna Coahuila, Mexico, to Theodoro and Benita Rodrigues-Atuyde. She graduated from Kingfisher High School and attended Southwestern Okla- homa State University in Weatherford. She married Salvador Rodriguez and was living in Moore. She was a lic- ensed practical nurse and was employed by Mercy Health Center. She was a member of the Holy Angels Catholic Church in Oklahoma City. Survivors include her husband, Salvador, and a daughter, Sofia Isabel Rodriguez, both of the home in Moore; her father, one sister, Francisca Wallace and her grandparents, Ines and Isidra Rodriguez. **************************************************************************** Sunday, May 5, 2002 Jimmie Lee Vannote: V530 Jimmie Lee Vannote, 67, of Blackwell, formerly of Kingfisher, died Mon- day, April 29, 2002, in the Hillcrest Manor Nursing Home in Blackwell. A family graveside service is pending. Arrangements are under direction of Roberts and Son Funeral Home Inc. of Blackwell. He was born June 9, 1934, in Olive to Clyde and Lilly Stout Vannote. He married Nancy Ware in 1958, in Blackwell. He married Peggy Bush in 1963 in Blackwell. They lived in Blackwell for a short time before moving to Kingfisher. She preceded him in death on Oct. 25, 1999. He worked as an electronics technician and owned his own business where he worked on radios and other electronic equipment. He was reared in Olive, where he attended school. He moved with his fam- ily to Blackwell in the early 1950s. He served in the U.S. Army in 1957. Survivors include one daughter, Barbara Jane Hill of Marion, Ill.; three stepdaughters, Debbie Foulk, Tammie Price and Connie Maschino, all of King- fisher; one brother, Ed Vannote of Blackwell; eight grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Peggy, and one grand- daughter, Skye Maschino. --- Iola Mae Coker: C260 Iola Mae Coker, 95, of Crescent died Thursday, May 2, 2002. Funeral services were scheduled at 10 a.m. Saturday in Guthrie with Dr. Dennis E. Clark, minister of the Guthrie First Christian Church, officiating. Burial will be in the Enid cemetery. She was born to Theodore and May Claus near Covington Aug. 8, 1906. She married Jack Coker of Covington Nov. 26, 1925. They resided throughout their married life in the Garber-Covington, Crescent and Coyle areas. Her husband preceded her in death on Nov. 4, 1985, 22 days before their 60th wedding anniversary. She was a member of the Christian Church and served as a Sunday school teacher at Coyle for 30 years. In recent years, she joined the Crescent Christian Church. Survivors include a daughter, Betty Lee Jacobs and husband Bill; a daughter-in-law, Ruby Coker; five grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services were set for 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 8, at Union Chapel Church with Pastor Barry Farnsworth officiating. Burial will follow at Lyon Valley Cemetery, under direction of Cordry-Gritz Funeral Home of Hennessey. He was born April 17, 1915, near Douglas to Roy and Nelle Anderson Barnes. He married Ruby Caroline Richards in Hennessey on April 7, 1939. He was a member of Victory Baptist Church in Kingfisher and was a past church deacon and Sunday school teacher. He farmed and ranched east of Hennessey until his retirement. His hobbies were fishing and gardening. Survivors include two daughters, Marilyn Spencer of Enid and Marie Stew- art and husband Bob of Hennessey; one son, William M. Barnes and wife Pris- cilla of Hennessey; one sister, Ethel Mae Wyman and husband Reuben of Mu- tual; one brother, Roy "Tommy" Barnes Jr. and wife Lois of Enid; nine grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and one brother. --- Lavena E. Voss: V200 Lavena E. Voss, 98, of Oklahoma City, formerly of Okarche, died Sunday, May 5, 2002, in Oklahoma City. A Rosary was held at 7 p.m. Tuesday. A Mass of Christian Burial was set for 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 8, in the All Saints Chapel of the Connor Center at Cathedral of Our Lady of Perpetual Help. A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, at the Holy Trinity Cemetery in Okarche, under direction of Smith and Kernke Funeral Directors in Oklahoma City. She was born Jan. 24, 1904, in Okarche. She and her husband moved to Oklahoma City in 1926 and operated a gas station. She was also employed at Tinker Air Force Base during WW II and worked as head baker and pastry chef at Northwest Classen and Harding schools for more than 20 years. She was a longtime member of the Cathedral of Our Lady of Perpetual Help. Her hobbies were fishing, dancing, playing cards and baking. Survivors include five grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, John C. Voss, one son, John J. Voss, one daughter, Dorothy R. Hopper, five brothers and sisters. --- Daniel "Reed" Walker: W426 Daniel "Reed" Walker, one-month-old son of David and Danyele Walker, died Sunday, May 5, 2002, in Oklahoma City. Funeral services were held Monday at the First Christian Church in Cres- cent with Rev. Keith Gordon officiating. Burial followed in Oakland-Knowles Cemetery at Crescent, under direction of Abernathy Funeral Home of Crescent. He was born April 4, 2002, in Oklahoma City to David and Danyele Richards Walker. Survivors include his parents; two brothers, Preston and Nash of the home; grandparents, Steve and Susanne Richards and Bonnie and Euel Jenson, all of Crescent; great-grandparents, C.E. "Doc" and Beulah Walker of Cres- cent and Yanky Hart of Tonkawa. Patton, 94, of Kingfisher died Friday, May 10, 2002, at First Shamrock Care Center. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Dover Cemetery. She was born April 8, 1908, in Texas to Robert and Lelah Smith Edwards. She married James H. Patton April 27, 1934, in Dover. They owned a Dover restaurant and operated a laundry for several years. The family moved to Kingfisher in 1953 where they owned and operated the Patton Station until 1987. Her husband died in 1974. Survivors include one son, Emmett Patton of Kingfisher; three grand- children, and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband James; two daughters, two sons, four brothers and two sisters. **************************************************************************** Wednesday, May 15, 2002 June L. Grabow: G610 June L. Grabow, 90, of Loyal died Friday, May 10, 2002, at Mercy Health Center in Oklahoma City. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Monday in the Peace United Church of Christ in Loyal with Rev. Leon Seaton officiating. Burial followed in Kingfisher Cemetery. She was born July 27, 1911 in Hennessey to William and Flora Gilbert Shearer. She taught in the Fair Lake School at Loyal. She married Alfred D. Grabow on Feb. 6, 1932, at Caldwell, Kan. She worked along side her husband for 70 years and was an active member of Peace United Church of Christ, women's fellowship, Loyal Home Demmonstra- tion Club and Pioneer 89'ers Association of Hennessey. Survivors include two daughters, Joye Garnett of Carlsbad, N.M., and Guyla Brinkmeyer of Rehoboth Beach, Del.; seven grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, one son, one grandson, six sisters and two brothers. --- Willard Lee "Red" Fraser: F626 Willard Lee "Red" Fraser, 62, of Hennessey, died Monday, May 13, 2002, at his home near Hennessey. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at the First Baptist Church in Hennessey with Rev. Terry Bunch officiating. Burial will follow in the Hennessey Cemetery under the direction of Cordry-Gritz Funeral Home. Fraser was born in Wright City on Nov. 27, 1939, to Abbie Gordon and Kathleen Marie Lee Fraser. He married Pat Ladd Kirkland in Chickasha on Nov. 15, 1977. Survivors include his wife, Pat, of the home; his father of Bethany; one son, Randy Lee Fraser and wife Angie of Hennessey; one daughter, Sherry Crump of Hennessey; two brothers, Carl William Fraser of Durant and Lester Gordon Fraser of Grand Prairie, Texas; one sister, Carolyn Joy Vossler of Grand Prairie, Texas, and 10 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother and one brother, Francis Fraser. --- Jere A. Gallup: G410 Funeral services for Jere Albert Gallup, 92, U.S. Air Force Major (ret.), will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Oak Grove Church. Ellis Weber will officiate. Visitation will be from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at Cordry-Gritz Funeral Home in Hennessey. Gallup was a veteran of World War II, Korea and Vietnam. A 1939 graduate of the University of Oklahoma in electrical engineering, he retired after 26 years in the Air Force and served 31 years as an engineer at Kelly AFB, Texas. Survivors include his wife, Eva Jean Rule Gallup of San Antonio; one son, Jere Rule Gallup of Miami; one daughter, Len Jean Crombie of Germantown, Tenn., and three great-grandchildren. **************************************************************************** Sunday, May 19, 2002 Raymond A. Wilczek: W422 Raymond A. Wilczek, 77, lifelong resident of the Loyal-Hitchcock area, died Wednesday, May 15, 2002, at his home. A Rosary service was held at 7 p.m. Friday. Mass of Christian Burial was held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Rosa of Lima Catholic Church in Watonga with Rev. David Cowden officiating. Burial was in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Loyal. He was born Jan. 19, 1925, in Loyal to Simon and Rosa Ronspiez Wilczek. He served in the Army during WWII. He had worked for Kingfisher County as a motor patrol operator for several years. He was a member of St. Rosa of Lima Catholic Church in Watonga, Loyal Lions Club and Loyal Volunteer Fire Department. Survivors include four stepsons, Larry Cole of Oklahoma City, Roger Cole of Tuttle, Jerry Cole of Pensacola, Fla., and William Cole of Yukon; one stepdaughter, Debi Cole of Oklahoma City; three foster children, Billy Young of Kingfisher, Dudley Young of Loyal and Michelle Fleshman of Loyal; three brothers Simon Wilczek of Kingfisher, Joe Wilczek of Enid and George Wilczek of Rangley, Colo.; five sisters, Irene Sigl of Guthrie, Rosella Reinart and Alice Boeckman, both of Okeene, Evelyn Pinkston of Kingfisher and Florence Nault of Muskogee; 16 grandchildren, and 11 great-grand- children. He was preceded in death by his wife, four brothers and two sisters. **************************************************************************** Wednesday, May 22, 2002 Ray Gene Duffy: D100 (((Photo))) Mr. Ray Gene Duffy, 62, of El Reno, died Saturday, May 18, 2002, at Presbyterian Hospital in Oklahoma City. Funeral services were set for 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 22, 2002, at the Sanders Funeral Chapel with Rev. Ron Phelps officiating. Interment will follow in the Kingfisher Cemetery, under direction of Sanders Funeral Service of Kingfisher. He was born July 10, 1939, in Kingfisher to Willard and Ruth Virginia (Helt) Duffy. He graduated from Okarche High School in 1957. He has lived northeast of El Reno since 1978. He and his brother, Jim, helped their father develop the Bermuda Sprigger and the Bermuda Digger machines which became known all over the world as Bermuda King, Inc. The late President Lyndon Johnson purchased one of their machines. He owned and operated the Duffy Farm and Lumber Yard in El Reno for several years and sold the company in 2001. He is survived by one son, Charles David Wallin and wife Rene of Yukon; one daughter, Candy Darlene Kinney and husband Jim Jay of Midwest City; three grandsons, Tyler Wallin and Nolan Wallin, both of Yukon , and Leonard Duvall of Midwest City; two granddaughters, Melynda Duvall and Jessica Kinney of Midwest City; one brother, Jim Duffy of Owasso; two sisters, Wilma Jo Duffy of Yukon and Judy Carol Duffy of Kingfisher, and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, one son, Jimmy Ray Duffy, one sister, Patti Schweitzer, and his parents. A memorial service was held at 11 a.m. Monday at Porter Loring North Chapel in San Antonio. She was born Aug. 17, 1967, in Weatherford. She was employed at Trane A/C Company in San Antonio. Survivors include her parents, James and Georgia Kale of Enterprise, Ala.; husband Bruce of San Antonio; son, Theodore Logan Minor of the home; one sister, Karen Kale of New Castle, Del.; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Gene and Laura Minor, and grandparents, Raymond and Helen Kale of Dover and Marie Endres of Kingfisher. She leaves behind aunts, uncles and cousins of Oklahoma and Texas. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, George F. Endres Jr. and Hazel Kale, and uncle, Mike Endres. A graveside service was held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, in West Lawn Cemetery at Borger, Texas. She was born Feb. 9, 1920, in Texas to Riley and Alice Childress Lovell. She married Verlin C. Ingram in Texas on Feb. 13, 1937. She moved to Kingfisher in 1991. Survivors include one daughter, Connie Weems of Kingfisher; two sons, Verlin "Butch" Ingram of Amarillo, Texas, and Milt Ingram of Fritch, Texas; two sisters, Mrs. Terry Flickenstein of Bastrop, Texas, and Dorothy Brown of Texas; five grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother and three sisters. **************************************************************************** Sunday, May 26, 2002 Basil Lynn Herren: H650 Basil Lynn Herren, 87, lifelong resident of Crescent, died Monday, May 20, 2002, at the Golden Age Nursing Home in Guthrie. Funeral services were held Thursday at Davis Funeral Chapel in Guthrie with Rev. David Nolen officiating. Burial followed in Oakland-Knowles Cemetery at Crescent. He was born March 23, 1915, in Crescent to Henry and Hassie Paris Herren. He married Opal Tharp on Jan. 10, 1934, in Guthrie. She preceded him in death on April 29, 1996. He was a farmer-stockman. He was a member of the Crescent First Baptist Church and the Crescent Masonic Lodge. Survivors include one son, Lex Herren of Crescent; one daughter, Tersa Jones and husband Loren of Guthrie; one sister, Georgia Dodd of Guthrie; seven grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, two sisters, three brothers and one daughter-in-law. --- Bill Forman: F655 Bill Forman, 76, of Okmulgee, formerly of Kingfisher, died Wednesday, May 22, 2002, in Tulsa. A graveside service was held Friday in the Okmulgee Cemetery with Revs. Guy Langston and Jimmy Boggs officiating. Arrangements were under direction of Shurden-Kelley Funeral Home of Okmulgee. He was born Feb. 27, 1926, in Watonga to Bertha M. and Emil Forman. He married Jean Armstrong on Oct. 14, 1949 in Chandler. He was a 1944 graduate of Kingfisher High School. He attended two years of junior college at Kemper Military School. He was employed by the National Marketing Company in Oklahoma City for two years. Then he was employed with the Oklahoma State Department of Agricul- ture in the marketing division in 1950, when he was transferred to Okmulgee. In 1958, he was made state supervisor. In 1960, he left the department and began a career in financing by becoming manager of the Citizen's Bank-Creek Finance Co. Later, he managed Interstate Securities Co. and Beneficial Fi- nance Co. In 1981, he reorganized Creek Finance Co. and was owner at the time of his death. He was active in the Retail Merchants Association, camping director of the Boy Scouts of America and past president of the Okmulgee Rotary Club. He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge No. 199, a 32 Degree Mason and past commander of the local commandry. He served as drive chairman for the campaign to build the Okmulgee Memorial Hospital. He served 15 years on the hospital board and was president in 1970 and again in 1975. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Okmulgee. Survivors include his wife, Jean of 52 years; mother, Bertha Forman of Okmulgee; mother-in-law, Bernice Armstrong; two sons, Doug Forman of Tulsa and Mike Forman and wife, Sue of Pace, Fla.; one brother-in-law, Raymond Armstrong and wife Sualice of Fort Worth, Texas; five grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. **************************************************************************** Wednesday, May 29, 2002 Bill B. Fuksa: F200 Bill B. Fuksa, 67, of Bison died Friday, May 24, 2002, at his home. A Wake service was held Monday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Bison. Mass of Christian Burial was held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, at the church with Rev. Larry Gatlin officiating. Burial followed at Calvary Cemetery at Hennessey, under direction of Cordry-Gritz Funeral Home. He was born April 2, 1935, in Bison to Joseph A. and Emma Sedlak Fuksa. He married Dorothy Hoover on May 15, 1961, in Enid. They made their home near Bison where they farmed. He was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Bison. Survivors include his wife Dorothy; four daughters, Kippie Lockridge and husband Greg and Teresa Pack and husband Robbie, all of Enid, Stephanie Baker of Bison and Tobbie Harris of Edmond; two sons, Kimbert Fuksa of Enid and Michael Fuksa and wife Vanessa of Waukomis; one brother, Robert J. Fuksa and wife Helen of Bison; one sister, Patsy Semrad and husband Willie of Douglas; 14 grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. --- Mary Lorene Warren: W650 Mary Lorene Warren, 91, of Oklahoma City, formerly of Kingfisher, died Thursday, May 23, 2002, in Oklahoma City. Funeral services were held Tuesday at Highland Hills Baptist Church in Oklahoma City with Rev. Todd Fisher officiating. Burial followed in King- fisher Cemetery. She was born July 16, 1910, in Kingfisher to Mr. and Mrs. John McGinn. She married Loyd Biehler on Dec. 30, 1947, in Wichita Falls, Texas. He preceded her in death in 1970. She married John N. Warren in 1978, at Chickasha. She moved to Oklahoma City in 1990 and became an active member of the Highland Hills Baptist Church. Survivors include one stepson, Dr. Larry Biehler of Oklahoma City; one half-sister; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren, and five great- great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two husbands and five sisters. --- Sylvia Marie Howard: H630 Word has been received of the death of Sylvia Marie Harned Howard, 60, of Brooklyn, N.Y. She died Wednesday, May 8, 2002, at her home. A funeral service was held May 14 at St. Luke and St. Matthew in Brooklyn. She was born June 11, 1941, in Oklahoma City to David Sr. and Georgiana Strunk Harned. She was the granddaughter of Theodore and Bessie Pratt Strunk of Kingfisher. She married Rev. Fred Howard in 1976. She was a 1959 graduate of Newkirk High School. She earned a bachelor of science degree in speech therapy at Oklahoma College for Women in Chickasha. She taught at the Amarillo Speech and Hearing Center in Amarillo, Texas. At the time of her death, she was employed at the Episcopal Church Center. Survivors include her husband, Fred; children, David and Leann; three sisters, Phyllis Hege, Tommy Gay Evans and Jonie Jene Pitts; one brother, David Harned, and three grandchildren. --- Evelyn Pinkston: P523 Evelyn F. Pinkston, 62, longtime Kingfisher bank employee, died Monday, May 27, at Mercy Health Center in Oklahoma City. Rosary service will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Sanders chapel in King- fisher. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Kingfisher with Rev. Rick Stansberry officiating, followed by burial at Kingfisher Cemetery. Mrs. Pinkston was born Oct. 25, 1939, at Loyal, the daughter of Simon and Rose Ronspiez Wilczek. She attended Loyal and Okeene schools, graduating from Loyal High School in 1957. She worked at Pioneer Telephone before joining Peoples National Bank in 1969, working as a teller until her retirement in March 2002. She married Dwayne Pinkston on Oct. 24, 1962, at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Kingfisher. She was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Altar Society. She was an avid fisherman and spent many hours in her gardens. Survivors include her husband, Dwayne, of the home; two sons, William and daughter-in-law Janet Pinkston of Kingfisher and Brian and son Blaise of Tulsa; three brothers, Simon and wife Dorothy Wilczek of Kingfisher, Joe and wife Barbara Wilczek of Enid and Paul "Butch" and wife Nona Wilczek of Rangely, Colo.; four sisters, Irene Sigl and husband Dan of Guthrie, Rosella Reinhart and husband Bill of Okeene, Florence Nault and husband Dan of Muskogee, and Alice Boeckman and husband Doug of Okeene; 73 loved nieces and and nephews, 136 great-nieces and nephews and 24 great-great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and seven brothers and sisters, Lawrence Wilczek, Ernest Wilczek, Louis Wilczek, Charles Wilczek, Raymond Wilczek, Agnes Ewings and Mary Boeckman. Memorials were suggested to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation for cancer research. --- Raymond LeRoy Withrow: W360 Raymond LeRoy Withrow, 67, of Kingfisher died Friday, May 24, 2002, at Cimarron Nursing Center in Kingfisher. A graveside service was set for 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 29, in the King- fisher Cemetery with Stella Horner officiating. Military rites will be conducted by the American Legion. He was born Aug. 31, 1934, in Kingfisher to Jesse and Mary Layton Withrow. He married Daisy Powell in Kingfisher. He served in the Navy during the Korean War and had been employed for the city of Kingfisher Street Department before retirement. He later worked for the transfer center. Survivors include his wife Daisy; and two brothers, Dale of Bay City, Texas, and Lester of Midwest City. --- Louise Kolar: K460 Gladys Louise Kolar, 79, of Kingfisher died Sunday, May 26, 2002, at Mercy Health Center in Oklahoma City. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Kingfisher with Rev. Rick Stansberry officiating, fol- lowed by burial in the Kingfisher Cemetery. Mrs. Kolar was born Oct. 19, 1922, at Chandler to James W. Johnson and Tennessee M. Rikard Johnson. She married Frank H. Kolar at Chandler on July 23, 1938. She was a retired nurse's aide-LPN. Her husband was employed in pipeline construction and they lived in several states and many cities as jobs required frequent relocations as cross-country construction progressed. She enjoyed embroidery and crochet and was very good at it until arthri- tis slowed her down. After her husband's death, she was employed as a nurse at nursing homes and Kingfisher Regional Hospital, where she enjoyed helping others. She also kept the nursery at the Federated Church in Kingfisher for some 15 years and also helped with the nursery at the First Christian Church here part-time. She really loved being with her children, her grandchildren, and, of late, her great-grandchildren. Survivors include a son, Herman L. Kolar and daughter-in-law Rita of Wichita, Kan.; two daughters, Melva J. Kolar of Okarche and Virginia D. Mitchell and son-in-law James E. Mitchell of Kingfisher; one brother, Calvin C. Johnson of Sardis, Miss.; one sister, Freda Kritz of Choctaw; one granddaughter, Andrea Eden of Harrah; four grandsons, John Matheson of Tulsa, David Mitchell of Dallas, Texas, Clint Kolar of Oklahoma City and Kurt Kolar of Seattle, Wash.; four great-grandsons, and one great-grand- daughter. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, four brothers and two sisters. The family requested memorials to the Center of Family Love in Okarche.
