Bennie Joe Streck

   Bennie Joe "Ben" Streck, 82, of Marshall died Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2002, at
the Methodist Home in Enid.
   Funeral services were held Friday at the First Christian Church in
Hennessey with Charles Burkhart, Leland Streck and Rev. Mark Mason officiating.
Burial followed in the Hennessey Cemetery, under direction of Cordry-Gritz
Funeral Home in Hennessey.
   He was born Aug. 20, 1919, in the Roxana community to Matthias O'Peter
and Jennie Elizabeth McCully Streck.
   He married Myrtle J. Crowl on July 29, 1940, in Hennessey.  She preceded
him in death on July 10, 1997.
   Survivors include five sons, Bud (Robert) and wife Dorothy of Hillsdale,
Richard and wife Caroll of Enid, Donnie and wife Wanda and Ronnie and wife
Betty, all of Marshall, and Ted and wife Pam of Arlington, Texas;  three
daughters, Benita Felber and husband David of Enid, Peggy Assenzio of Hillsdale
and Rebecca Walters and husband Charles of Katy, Texas;  18 grandchildren, and
24 great-grandchildren.
   He was preceded in death by his prents, wife, three brothers and one
great-grandson.
