All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== The Kingfisher Times & Free Press, Kingfisher, Oklahoma Wednesday, January 23, 2002 Terry Max Stewart Terry Max Stewart, 60, lifelong resident of the Loyal area, died Sunday, Jan. 20, 2002, at the IHS Hospital in Edmond. Funeral services were held Tuesday in the Loyal United Methodist Church with Rev. Bob Barr officiating. Burial followed in the Forest Home Cemetery in Loyal. He was born July 18, 1941, in Loyal to Arlo and Naomi Ogle Stewart. He was a 1959 graduate of Loyal High School. He married Lorraine Miller on Feb. 24, 1962, in Garnett, Kan. He served in the Army, then returned to the Loyal area. He was employed with Wheeler Brothers for 13 years, Pioneer Telephone Cooperative for two years, drove a school bus for several years and served as mayor of Loyal for 31 years. Survivors include his wife, Lorraine of the home; one son, Troy Stewart of Oklahoma City; two daughters, Cherie Ingram of Omega and Michelle Wiens of Cashion; one sister, Arlette Liebl of Kingfisher, and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
