Lycurcus Decater Warren. He was born October 27th, 1845, in Octibbawah County, Miss., from where his parents moved to Illinois while he was still a child. After reaching his majority he moved to Kansas and from there to Kingfisher county, Oklahoma, in 1889. He came to Berlin in 1902 when he bought the Davenport farm which has been his home ever since. He was a worthy member of the Missionary Baptist Association and also a member in good standing of the order of Odd Fellows, holding the position of L.S.V.G. in Berlin Lodge 137. He leaves a mourning wife, seven children, four grandchildren, two sisters and one brother. Funeral services were conducted under the auspices of the Odd Fellows of Berlin Lodge and the respect and estimation in which Bro. Warren is held was well attested by the large circle of friends who attended and assisted in the last sad rite. May he rest in peace.
