Wanda Fern Adams

Wanda Fern Adams, 64, of Amarillo, died Monday, July 27, 1998.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Paramount Baptist Church with the 
Rev. Bill Austin and the Rev. F.M. Byford officiating. Burial will be in 
Llano Cemetery by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia St.

Mrs. Adams was born in Hobart, Okla., and moved to Amarillo as a child. 
She retired as a teacher from Amarillo Independent School District. She 
was a member of Paramount Baptist Church and the Pastor's Sunday School 
Class.

She married Dowel O. Adams in 1952 at Amarillo.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Steven Allen Adams of Dallas; a 
daughter, Kendall Jean Harman of Amarillo; her mother, Margie Springstube 
of Amarillo; four sisters, Beth Shelton of New Braunfels and Marcia 
Miller, Linda Gleghorn and Sherri Braddock, all of Amarillo; and two 
grandchildren.

The family will be at 3308 Bedford.

The family requests memorials be to Baptist St. Anthony's Hospice and Life 
Enrichment Center, P.O. Box 950, Amarillo, Texas, 79176; or Don and Sybil 
Harrington Cancer Center, 1500 Wallace Blvd., Amarillo, Texas, 79106.
