Wehmuller Adler SNYDER — Funeral for Ruth O. Wehmuller Adler, 85, Snyder, will be at 10 a.m. Monday at First United Methodist Church, Snyder, with the Rev. William F. Todd, pastor of Centenary United Methodist Church, and the Rev. Nancy Adler, pastor of the First United Methodist Church, Snyder, officiating. Mrs. Adler died Friday, July 26, 2002, in Snyder. Burial will be at 3:30 p.m. in Memorial Park Cemetery, Oklahoma City, under direction of Becker Funeral Home of Snyder, with the Rev. Arch Baker, pastor of Central Presbyterian Church, officiating. She was born Oct. 17, 1916, in Colony, to Edward and Emelia Fischer Wehmuller. After she graduated from Weatherford High School, she attended Oklahoma College for Women in Chickasha. She married Col. James N. Adler in 1940. He died in 1995. She was a member of Central Presbyterian Church, where she served in the Christian education department and was in the Central Presbyterian Women’s Circle. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Doug and the Rev. Nancy Adler, Snyder; two grandchildren: Neill Adler and his wife, Linda, Yukon; and Mandie Adler and her fiancé, Mack Renner, Tulsa; three great- grandchildren: Isaac and Nathan Adler, and Sister Esther Davina; and a nephew and niece, Lowell and Pat Davina, Rosewell, N.M. She was preceded in death by three sisters: Gertrude, Alma and Esther. Memorial contributions may be made to Snyder First United Methodist Church, 918 E.
