Irene Anderson

DUMAS - Irene Anderson, 87, died Saturday, Feb. 2, 2002.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in First Assembly of God Church with the 
Rev. Jerry Trammell, pastor, and the Rev. H.L. Stevens, retired pastor of 
the church, officiating. Burial will be in Dumas Cemetery by Morrison 
Funeral Directors of Dumas.

Mrs. Anderson was born July 13, 1914, in Mountain View, Okla. She had been 
a Dumas resident since 1947. She married Claude Anderson on Dec. 22, 1936, 
in Colony, Okla. She was a member of First Assembly of God Church at 
Dumas.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 2000.

Survivors include a daughter, Betty J. Pledger and husband, Lloyd, of 
Lubbock; a son, Ray G. Anderson and wife, Patsy, of Dumas; four 
grandchildren, Kevin, Renae, Kendra and Rickey; and nine great-
grandchildren, April, Marla, Leah, Keith, Justin, Kristi, Wesley, Tim and 
Tiffany.

The family will be at 809 N.E. Eighth in Dumas.

The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. today at the funeral 
home.

The family suggests memorials be to Memorial Hospice, 224 E. Second, 
Dumas, TX 79029; or to Oasis at First Assembly of God Church, P.O. Box 
764, Dumas, TX 79029.
