All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Lawton Constitution 4 Dec 2003 Charles Edward Anderson SNYDER — Funeral for Charles Edward Anderson, 91, Snyder, will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Snyder First Baptist Church with the Rev. Phil Thompson officiating. Mr. Anderson died Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2003, at his home. Burial will be at Rogers Cemetery, southwest of Snyder. He was born Nov. 30, 1912, in Alvord, Texas, to Lewis and Massie Miller Anderson. He married Geraldine Beason on Sept. 4, 1936, in Altus. He was a farmer and rancher. He was a longtime member of Pleasant Valley Baptist Church, where he served as Sunday school teacher, deacon and superintendent. Survivors include his wife, three sons and two daughters-in-law: Jimmie and Dixie, Altus; Charles Dewayne and Mary and Don, all of Snyder; a daughter, Barbara, Snyder; four grandsons: Eddie, Marlon and Jeromie, all of Snyder; and Chad, Fort Worth, Texas; three granddaughters: Tammie Crowder, Bartlesville, Karen Igo, Snyder; and Dana Souza, Pfafftown, N.C.; eight great-grandchildren: Misty, Nicholas, Nathan Igo and Blaine Anderson, all of Snyder; Sara Smith, Lawton; and Matthew Maretich and Alexa and Jacob Souza, all of Pfafftown; and two great-great-granddaughters: Taylor Lewis-Igo and Marley Dee Anderson, both of Snyder. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Return to Kiowa County Archives: http://www.usgwarchives.net/ok/kiowa/kiowa.html
