Mrs. Bickford died Tuesday, July 1, 2003, in Altus. Burial will be at Mountain View Cemetery under direction of Hackney- Gish Funeral Home, Hobart. She was born March 19, 1937, in Mountain View to Aubrey and Earlene Direckson Laird. She married Charles Bickford on Jan. 1, 1956, at Mountain View. She was a member of First Christian Church and Beta Upsilon Sorority. Survivors include her husband, of the home; two sons: Aubrey Shawn Bickford and Charles Keith Bickford, both of Tulsa; and his mother and stepfather, Earlene and Jack Long, Mountain View.
