All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Otter Creek Cemetery--Snyder OK Henry Curtis Coffelt Funeral services for former Snyder resident Henry Curtis Coffelt, 81, Austin, Texas will be at 11:00 am Monday in the Southside Baptist Church, Snyder with Kirk Reimers, Pastor officiating. Mr. Coffelt died Thursday in Austin, Texas. Burial will be in Otter Creek Cemetery, Southwest of Snyder, under the direction of Becker Funeral Home of Snyder. He was born February 9, 1925 in Snyder, Oklahoma to A.R. and Izora (Otwell) Coffelt. He was raised in Snyder, and he married Alma Jo Broome on April 5, 1943 in Bossier City, LA. They have been married for 63 years. He and his wife moved to California in 1947 were they reared three children. He was employed at AS & R for 23 years, and retired from C & H Sugar after 18 years. Curtis and Alma moved to Austin, Texas in 2003. He was baptized and was a member of the Otter Creek Baptist Church. Curtis had a very full life in his 82 years and he was a devoted husband and family man. Survivors include his wife of the home, three children, Joyce Wiler and husband Holland of Austin, TX, Linda Lower and husband Duane of Redding, CA and Alton Coffelt and wife Maureen of Eldorado, KS. He is also survived by his sister Winnie McCullar of Bakersfield, CA, 16 grandchildren, Holland Wiler IV, Margaret Wiler, Tera Hughey, Eldon Hughey, Kristina Chitwood, Mark Chitwood, Cyndi Phillips, Alton Coffelt, Crystal Coffelt, Jennifer Hoberg, Ryan Hoberg, Christi Tilton, Jodi Chalmers, Brian Chalmers, Rodney Lower and Jayna Lower, 17 great-grandchildren, Meghan Wiler, Dustin Hughey, Cameron Hughey, Jordyn Hughey, Brooke Wiler, Tanner Hughey, Makayla Chitwood, Holland Wiler V, Colbi Phillips, Kylie Coffelt, Logan Phillips, Kayla Coffelt, McKenzie Coffelt, Christopher Chitwood, Miranda Chitwood, Payton Lower and Alexa Chalmers.
