Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Monday in Memorial Park Funeral Home, Chapel of Memories, 6969 E. Interstate 40. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Chandler was born in Mountain Park, Okla., and was a longtime resident of Amarillo. During World War II, he served in the Army and received the Purple Heart. Mr. Chandler was a lifetime member of the Disabled American Veterans. He was an office machine repairman for Elliott-Russell. He married Frances Dwight in 1939 at Clovis, N.M. Survivors include his wife; a son, Robert M. Chandler of Canyon; a daughter, Sandy Vasquez of Canyon; a sister, Ethel Russell of Santa Fe, N.M.; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
