All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== ::Frederick Memorial Cemetery--Frederick OK Lawton Consitituion 17 May 2003 Mark Crane FREDERICK — Funeral for Mark Crane, 73, Frederick, will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Church of the Living God with Bishop E.L. Bowie officiating. Mr. Crane died Tuesday, May 13, 2003, in Frederick. Burial will be at Frederick Memorial Cemetery under direction of Jackson Funeral Home. He was born May 17, 1929, in Lone Wolf, to Joe Diamond and Emma Jackson Crane. He and his family came to Frederick when he was young, and he attended Boyd School. He married Doris Parks, and later married Jimmie J. Rice on Nov. 18, 1961. They moved to Topeka, Kan., and back to Frederick in 1979. He belonged to local union No. 142 while doing construction work in Kansas. He also worked for Chickasha Compress and Dunavant Warehouse in Frederick. He was a member of Church of the Living God. Survivors include his wife, of the home; nieces and nephews they raised: Ida Rice, Duncanville, Ga.; Russell Jones, Wichita Falls, Texas; Sam Deon Rice, Tamiko Mitchell and Justin Mark Harris, all of Topeka; a special nephew, Luke Crane, Wichita Falls; a brother and sister-in-law, John and Cathrine Crane, Berkeley, Calif.; three sisters: Ruth Evaige, Wichita Falls; Ester Clark, Frederick; and Sarah Turner, San Francisco; three children: Alfreda Crane, Oklahoma City; Craig Crane and Carl Johnson, both of Lawton; special friends: Anthony and Eddie Joe Seamster; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
