Carma L. Edwards

OLTON - Carma L. Edwards, 64, died Saturday, Sept. 5, 1998.


Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in First Baptist Church of Olton with the 
Rev. Leland Lewis, pastor of First Assembly of God Church, Lamesa, 
officiating. Burial will be at 3 p.m Tuesday in Odessa Cemetery, Gotebo, 
Okla., by Foskey-Lilley-McGill Funeral Home.

Mrs. Edwards was born in Cordell, Okla. In 1951 she moved from Amarillo to 
Olton, where she operated Carma's Trim & Curl Beauty Salon from 1964 until 
she retired in 1980. She was a member of Assembly of God Church and Olton 
Home Extension Club.

She married Marlin Edwards in 1951 at Clovis, N.M.

Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Quilla Cook of Booker, Okla.; a 
son, Lyndell Edwards of Webb City, Mo.; her father, Everett McBroom of 
Olton; a sister, Margaret Young of Laverne, Okla.; and three 
grandchildren.

The family requests memorials be to Family Hospice, 7606 University Ave., 
Suite C, Lubbock, TX 79423.
