All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== ::Rose Hill Cemetery--Chickasha OK © The Chickasha Express-Star 13 Jan 2004 Cleo Nadine Fletcher Funeral service for age 78, of Chickasha, Oklahoma, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 14, 2004, in the McRay Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Johnny Freeman will officiate. Cleo Nadine Fletcher was born the daughter of Elmer Smith and Verdie Williams Smith on November 16, 1925, in Mountain View, Oklahoma. She died unexpectedly on Sunday, January 11, 2004, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, as the result of a heart attack. Cleo grew up on the farm in Mountain View, Oklahoma, and attended Mountain View High School. She married Clifford Pirtle in 1941, and they continued to farm and ranch in the Mountain View area for many years. Clifford later preceded her in death. Cleo also lived in Lawton, then Duncan for several years. In 1982, Cleo moved to Chickasha where she met Vern Fletcher. Vern and Cleo were married in 1984. Cleo loved to cook and bake. She also loved her animals. Survivors include: husband, Vern Fletcher of the home; son and wife, Garry and Jeanett Pirtle of Norman; daughter and husband, Gayla and Gerald Brown of Chickasha; stepdaughter and husband, Pamela and Buddy Perry of Norman; brother and wife, Verble and Lillie Smith of Midwest City; three grandsons; two granddaughters; two great granddaughters. Interment will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery.
