Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in United Methodist Church in Elmer with the Rev. Milton Gage officiating. Burial will be in Mountain Park Cemetery in Mountain Park by Peoples Cooperative Funeral Home of Lone Wolf. Mrs. Hawkins was born in Mountain Park where she graduated from high school in 1934. With her husband, she lived in Higgins, Texas, from 1943 until 1987. During that time, she was a member of Docilis Club, Home Extension Club and United Methodist Women. She was an active member of First United Methodist Church. She married Cecil W. "Spud" Hawkins in 1934 at Hobart. Survivors include her husband; two sons, Jerry Hawkins of Clarendon, Texas, and Jack Hawkins of Cameron, Texas; a daughter, Gwen Cochran of Edmond; three sisters, Edna Slocum of Manteca, Calif., Olive Robinette of Florence, Ore., and Velma Bullock of Cordell; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Return to Kiowa County Archives: http://www.usgwarchives.net/ok/kiowa/kiowa.html
