Surnames: Hudson, Stiles 

Daniel (Dan) Hudson died September 23, 1999, in California. He had 
been ill for the past several months with heart problems. He was 
born April 30, 1933, to LaVern C. (Dude) Hudson and Carletta Stiles 
Hudson in Hobart. He attended Prospect View Elementary School and 
was a graduate of Hobart High School. He left Hobart to serve in the 
Army during the Korean War. After the war, he remained in southern 
California where he worked for the federal government as a postal 
employee, and later as a truck driver. He was the proprietor of 
several rental properties in South Pasadena, California. At the time 
of his death, Hudson and his wife Betty were preparing to retire in 
Clovis, California, where they had purchased a new home. He is 
survived by his wife Betty, his mother Carletta who is residing in a 
convalescent hospital in South Pasadena, California, and his sister 
Carol. The Neptune Society is in charge of final arrangements and 
his ashes will be spread over the Pacific Ocean.
