All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Lawton Constitution 13 Mar 2003 Harlan LeRoy Hall CORONA, Calif. - Graveside service for former Saddle Mountain resident Harlan LeRoy Hall, 70, Corona, Calif., was Monday at Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, Calif. Mr. Hall died Wednesday, March 5, 2003. Arrangements were by Stanley L. Dickey Mortuary, Fontana, Calif. He was born Aug. 11, 1932, in Saddle Mountain, to Roy and Ruby Hall Zotigh. He graduated from Fort Sill Indian School and attended Cameron College. He had worked at KSWO Radio. He married Francine Z. Purdy on Dec. 2, 1956. He was a resident of Riverside for 12 years and of Corona for one year. He was a purchasing agent for Aircraft Fasteners for 10 years. He served in the Army during the Korean Conflict from 1950 to 1953, and attained the rank of sergeant. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9223, Riverside; Disabled American Veterans; and was a life member of Post 28, Riverside. He was the author of two published books: "Remember We Are Kiowa" and "Akothondo - "I Am Beaten Black Tough"." Survivors include his wife, Corona; a son, LeRoye W.
