She was born November 21, 1913, in rural Kiowa County, Oklahoma, to John and Pearl (Ellis) Willoughby. She was a life-long resident of Kiowa County and a life-long active member of the Church of Christ. She lived on a farm southeast of Hobart for 55 years. Frances married Dewey Jantz on August 3, 1935, in Cordell, OK. She was a member of the Progressive Homemakers Club, a charter member of the Rainy Mountain Home Demonstration Club, and enjoyed playing bridge. Survivors include her three sons, Arthur Jantz and wife Janice, Altus, OK, Jerry Jantz and wife Marilyn, Ponca City, OK, Kenny Jantz and wife Venice, Davis, OK; seven grandchildren, Katrina Jouett, Lubbock, TX, Jeffrey Jantz, Albuquerque, New Mexico, Shanna Kemp, Austin, TX, Gregory Jantz, Wichita, Kansas, Michelle Seeliger, Perry, OK, Kenda Speaks and Brett Jantz, both of Davis, OK; seven great grandchildren; one brother, Virgil Morris and wife Barbara, Norman, OK. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, July 1, 2004, at the Church of Christ in Hobart, OK, with David Ridenour officiating.
