All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== ::Navajo Cemetery--Altus OK Lawton Constitution 12 Apr 2003 Marshall 'Mo,' 'Shorty' Knight MOUNTAIN PARK — Graveside service for Marshall "Mo," "Shorty" Knight, 78, Mountain Park, will be at 3 p.m. today at Navajo Cemetery, northeast of Altus, with the Rev. Gerald Green, assistant chaplain of Hospice of Lawton, officiating. Mr. Knight died Wednesday, April 9, 2003, at his home. Arrangements are by Becker Funeral Home, Snyder. He was born Sept. 11, 1924, in Bristow. He was an employee of many salvage yards, and a driver for J.R. Ivey and Phillip and Ned Shadid, in the Altus area. He also did mechanical work on farm machinery around Headrick and Altus. He married Thelma Ray Blackwell. He later married Drath Blackwell on June 24, 1965, in Oklahoma City, and they lived in Headrick. Survivors include his children and their spouses: Helen and Richard Ruth and Marshall Ray and Renae Knight, all of Oklahoma City; Shirley and Gerald Lacy, Headrick; Marla "Fatso" Knight, Fort Madison, Iowa; Marsha A. "Hoppy" and John Knight, Drath Linn "Bug," "Hoss Fly" Westbrook and Claude Miller, all of Mountain Park; a sister and brother-in-law, Aleen and John McVay, Augusta, Kan.; his grandchildren: Jamie Dean Knight, Chance Wayne Knight, Golden Klinn "Cricket" Lawson, Floyd Marshall Joe Lawson, Charles Lane, Josephine Annie Anita Lawson, Ashley Michelle Westbrook, Joe David Westbrook, Tina Linn Miller, Shanda Lee Saben, Timothy Wayne Saben, Nathan Tyler Manning, Lucian Lawrence Lacy and Larry Lee Lacy; and many other grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
