All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Lowe Funeral to be Friday Funeral services for C T Lowe, Washita and Kiowa county pioneer church leader and farmer who died after a short illness Wednesday morning, will be held at the Church of the First Born, four miles northeast of Rocky, at 2 p.m. Friday The body will lie in state at the home at 320 North Bailey her Friday morning. Born Feb 26, 1876, at Grandview TX, Mr Lowe came to Washita county in 1901. He moved to Kiowa county, east of Hobart in 1922 and lived there three years before going back to Washita county for 10 years. He came to Hobart in 1938. He had been elder of the church for 12 years. The services will be conducted by Johnny Case, Cushing minister, assisted by Otto Cunningham, Rocky Elder. He is survived by his wife, four sisters, Mrs Anna Carter, El Paso TX, Mrs Cattie Griffith, Plainview TX; Mrs Lizzie Wells, Lone Wolf; Mrs Ella Siddons, Hobart, and a brother, Sam Lowe, Grandview TX; four sons, Roy, Earl and Ira of Hobart, and Ted, Olympia WA; eight grandchildren, and one great-grandchild -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Return to Kiowa County Archives: http://www.usgwarchives.net/ok/kiowa/kiowa.html
