All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.html ========================================================================== ::Fairlawn Cemetery--Snyder OK Lawton Constitution 24 Sep 2004 Raymond 'Sonny' Muse Jr. SNYDER Funeral for Raymond "Sonny" Muse Jr., 56, Snyder, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Snyder First Baptist Church with the Rev. William Dickey officiating. Mr. Muse died Wednesday, Sept. 22, 2004 in Snyder. Burial will be in Fairlawn Cemetery, east of Snyder, under direction of Preston Leckie Funeral Home, Snyder. He was born Feb. 5, 1948, in Snyder to Raymond Sr. and Dora Bell Muse. He attended Snyder Public Schools and was a retired truck driver and mechanic. He married Johnnie Stewart and later spent 22 years with his companion Linda Newman. Survivors include four sons: Raymond Jr., Lexington; Jason, Lawton; Dustin, Snyder; and Adam LaPlant, Mansfield, Texas; five daughters and three sons-in-law, Ruthie M. West and Kevin, Elk City; Lashell Abdula and Brandi King, both of Snyder; Keisha and Joe Adu, Oklahoma City; and Tiffiny and Charles Sullivan, Marshall, Texas; three brothers: Billy, Oklahoma City; Gary, Enid; and Jimmy, Snyder; five sisters and four brothers-in-law: Betty and Jim Dickie, Evelyn and Bill Allen, Carolyn and Billy Lacy and Lula Brown, all of Snyder; and Joyce and Roy Wilson, Lawton; 18 grandchildren; an uncle, J.D. Baldwin, Frederick; several nephews and nieces; and a best friend, Juan T. Lopez, Snyder.
