Alice B. McCannon

HOBART — Funeral for Alice B. McCannon, 85, was Monday at Hobart Church of 
Christ with David Ridenour officiating.

Mrs. McCannon died Friday, May 16, 2003, in Hobart.

Burial was at Hobart Rose Cemetery under direction of Hackney-Gish Funeral 
Home, Hobart.

She was born May 5, 1918, in Sayre. She grew up in Sentinel and Sayre, and 
moved to Hobart in 1942. She married Earl McCannon on April 19, 1946. He 
died March 26, 1982.

Survivors include three sons: Harold D. Pruitt, Ardmore; Clayburn Pruitt, 
Pangburn, Ark.; and Jerry McCannon, Hobart; 10 grandchildren; nine great-
grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Bill Caudill, 
Sentinel; and a sister, Doris Healy, Modesto, Calif.
