Billie Neal Mitchell

Billie Neal Mitchell, 70, of Amarillo, died Friday, June 25, 1999.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Memorial Park Cemetery with 
the Rev. Windell Taylor, chaplain of the Veterans Administration Medical 
Center, officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery by 
Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Directors, Memorial Chapel, 315 D. Fifth Ave.

Mr. Mitchell was born in Hobart, Okla., and had lived in Amarillo for the 
past 42 years. He served with the Navy during World War II and worked as a 
commercial pressman until his retirement.

He married Mellodean Tyler in 1970 at Amarillo.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Billy Neal Mitchell of California 
and Michael Neal Mitchell of Amarillo; a daughter, Peggy Ann Mitchell of 
Arizona; a stepdaughter, Dianne Rogers of Amarillo; two stepsons, David 
Tutter and Chris Tutter, both of Amarillo; 11 grandchildren; and 13 great-
grandchildren. New Mexico
