W. Denham, retired Baptist minister, Snyder, officiating. Mr. Ney died Saturday, August 23, 2003, in Lawton. Burial with military honors is under direction of Becker Funeral Home. He was born in Nov. 14, 1921, Mountain Park. He graduated from Mountain Park High School and served in the U.S. Army during World War II in the Pacific Theater. He married Rae Nell Woodward on June 10, 1950 in Snyder. He owned and operated Ney's Service Station in Mountain Park until 1974. He also farmed and ranched. Survivors include his wife, of the home; two daughters: Linda Ney, Cement; and Jackie Ney, Mountain Park; three grandsons: Eric Ney and his wife, Nacole, Adam Ney and Collin Ney, all of Mountain Park; and three great-grandchildren: Clerra, Brittany and Hunter, all of Mountain Park.
