All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== :Grandfield Memorial Cemetery - Grandfield OK Duncan Banner 19 Jun 2002 Joyce Ann Ross GRANDFIELD — Joyce Ann Ross, 66, of Duncan died Tuesday, June 18, 2002, in a Lawton hospital. Service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Gray Funeral Home Chapel in Grandfield. Officiating will be her sister-in-law, the Rev. Rebecca Morton, associate pastor at Nichols Hills United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Grandfield Memorial Cemetery. Mrs. Ross was born Nov. 28, 1935, in Grandfield, to Brad and Mable Morton. She married Harlan Ross on Jan. 23, 1953, in Wichita Falls, Texas. He preceded her in death on Oct. 14, 1996. Mrs. Ross spent the early part of her life in Grandfield, graduating from Grandfield High School in 1954. She lived in Kiowa County for 15 years prior to moving to Duncan in 1989. She was a homemaker and a Baptist. Survivors include her father, Brad Morton of Grandfield; two sons, Rex Ross and his wife, Tammy, of Duncan, and Harlan L. Ross, Jr. and his wife, Rocky, of Granite; granddaughter, Amanda Troutman and her husband, Jon, of Virginia; a brother, Larry Don Morton and his wife, Becky, of Oklahoma City; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren, James and Emily McDaniel of Arlington, Texas, Jennifer Morton of Oklahoma City; and many other nieces and nephews.
