Harlon Woodall, Pastor of First Baptist Church, Mountain Park, officiating. Mrs. Richardson died Friday in an Altus hospital. Burial will be in Fairlawn Cemetery, Snyder, under the direction of Becker Funeral Home of Snyder. She was born March 1, 1917 in Pleasant Valley Community, Southwest of Snyder, Oklahoma, to Louis Vernon and Fay (Reser) McCorkle. She was a graduate of Mountain Park High School. She married Burnice Verdet Richardson on December 4, 1935. He died December 19, 1993. She was a member of the Otter Creek Baptist Church and the Southside Baptist Church, and was the Pianist at both for many years. She loved to Garden, Crochet, play the piano and was a lover of all people. She is survived by a Son-Vernon Richardson of Snyder, OK., 7 Grandchildren: Karen & husband Aldo Sanchez of Altus, Keith & wife Cheryl Marple of Lawton, Craig Richardson of Altus, Terri & husband Tim Siniard of Altus, Sherrie & husband Rick Miller of Westerville, OH, Robyn & husband Tim King of Altus and Derek Richardson of Altus. 9 Great Grandchildren: Thomas Sanchez, Juliana Sanchez, Erik Marple, Megan Marple, Tiffany Marple, Ryan Siniard, Tyler Siniard, Robert Richardson and Travis Richardson. Aunt: Rachel Thatcher of Pennsylvania. 4 Special Relatives: Sandy Spencer of Headrick, OK, Teresa Hutchinson of Altus, OK, Nancy Roberts of Harlingen, TX and Linda Foster of Altus, OK. She was preceded in death by a Daughter, Gail Marple, a Son, Billy Richardson and a Brother, J.L. McCorkle.
