Services will be at 10 a.m. today in Foskey-Lilley-McGill Funeral Home Ivey Chapel with the Rev. Howard Rhodes of First Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday in Hobart Rose Cemetery in Hobart, Okla. Mr. Rickerd was born Aug. 3, 1930, in Cold Springs, Okla. He joined the Army Air Corps in 1952. Survivors include a daughter, D.D. Saunders of Dallas; three sons, Ricky Don Rickerd of Hobart, Robert Russell "Rusty" Rickerd of Mangum, Okla., and Woody Charles Rickerd of Nazareth; three sisters, Shirley Munsel of Long Beach, Calif., Margie Rickerd of Big Spring and Ethelyn Ragsdale of Roosevelt, Okla.; two brothers, DeRoy Rickerd of Blackwell, Okla., and Wayne Rickerd of Roosevelt; and six grandchildren. The family suggests memorials be to American Diabetes Association or Parkinson's Foundation.
