Mrs. Scott died Monday, Nov. 24, 2003, in Lawton. Burial will be at Hobart Rose Cemetery under direction of Hackney-Gish Funeral Home, Hobart. She was born May 31, 1915 in Concordia, Mo., to August and Dora Meinking Suhren. She had lived in Kiowa County all her life and was a member of Hobart United Methodist Church. Survivors include four sons and three daughters-in-law: Ronald and Marilyn Scott, Hobart; Kenneth and LaVearn Scott, Lawton; Curtis Scott, Roosevelt; Bill and Penny Scott, Sand Springs; a son-in-law, Frank Wood, Hobart; 14 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Willie Suhren, Hobart; and four sisters: Margaret Clark, Mount Clements, Mich.; Edith and her husband Harold Scott; and Marie Scott, all of Hobart; Jobyna Shaw, Oklahoma City.
