All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Funeral services for William Louis Stephens will be held at 2:30pm Wednesday afternoon in the Methodist Church with Rev. Percy W. Beck, pastor officiating. Stephens, who had been employed as night watchman the past four years at the Trader's Compress, died suddenly at 7:30 Sunday Morning following a heart attack. He was at home, 112 S. Lincoln. Born in Pine Knot, Kentucky in April 1882, he was united in marriage to Ella Trammell in 1908. They moved to Oklahoma in 1908 and in 1928 moved to a farm about 10 miles east of Hobart. Until four years ago they resided on the farm. Before coming to Hobart, they lived in Trousdale, Ok. Survivors include the widow and six children. They are Mrs. Blanche Morgan, Mrs. Anna Paramore both of Macomb, Ok., Mrs. Velma Block, Roosevelt, Mrs. Macy Milligan, Mr. Eugene Stephens both of Hobart and R.L. Stephens, Davis, Ok. Also surviving are three sisters and a brother, Mrs. Daisy Hayes, Coxton, Ky, Mrs. Moore and John Stephens, Pine Knot, Ky and Mrs. Jim Smith, Sumerset, Ky.
