All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Mountain View Cemetery--Mountain View OK Lawton Constitution 01 & 02 July 2003 Clarence Austin Sadler Funeral for Clarence Austin Sadler, 85, Lawton, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Whinery-Huddleston Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Paul Craig and John Ross Sadler officiating. Mr. Sadler died Sunday, June 29, 2003. Burial with military honors will be at Mountain View Cemetery with Raymond Kaping, Duncan, officiating. He was born Aug. 7, 1917, in Mountain View, to Bessie McKenzie and Elijah Sadler. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II in communications. He was stationed at Oklahoma City and Camp Butner, N.C., as a radio operator. He married Joy A. Shirley on Dec. 24, 1953, in Woodward. He was an analyst for the Social Security Administration and a member of the Church of Christ. Survivors include his wife, of the home; two sons: John Sadler, Duncan; and Joe Sadler, Lawton; a daughter, Nancy Kaping, Duncan; a sister, Margaret Redd; seven grandchildren: Charlotte Webb, Duncan; Nikki Beachler and John Ross Sadler, both of Moore; Trelle Dendridge, Galveston, Texas; and Trisha Barber, Jason Russell and Savannah Sadler, all of Lawton; six great-grandchildren: Halena Beachler, John Taylor Sadler, Jessie Sadler and Tyce Beachler, all of Moore; and Alicia Webb and Addison Webb, both of Duncan.
